2015 Michael Florentino Primitivo
Primitivo is the grandfather of Zinfandel and the oldest varietal originally from Croatia. This is a single vineyard and varietal. Our Primitivo is aged on mainly once used except a couple new barrel. This keeps the jamminess but adds some depth to the finish.
Vibrant bouquet of dark fruit and cherry with some deeper notes. The fruit continues with a cranberry/cherry overture. There is some light vanilla and pepper spice. Medium bodies finish that that will go will with spicy foods or grilling.
